Just read the title, if you don't get the post at first.
Vince will kill ECW, then say it was already a damaged brand. So I give it a few weeks before he starts to feel the real backlash of it. And it might pick up a little bit after RVD gets back from the 3- day, but I think it will be too little too late. Sports Entertainment isn't meant for ECW, but the shitiness of Sports Entertainment are gonna run strong through Vince (who I think is going legally insane). I just wanted to vent to people, I know will have an opinion on this shit too.

I don't get ECW in Canada--they never got it cleared up here. But I have seen some footage of it and… it's not as extreme as it should be. Certainly not as extreme when it's compared to the old ECW. I never saw the old ECW--the best I can do is buy the ECW DVDs--but even from that, I can tell Vince's interpretation of ECW doesn't do justice to the original. I'm still not certain how Kelly fits into being extreme ( though I'm not gonna lie, I do enjoy her exposés ) and there certainly isn't enough blood and barbed wire, but what're you gonna do? The FCC will continuously watch the WWE for that kinda material ever since Janet Jackson screwed us over. As for Vince putting an end to it, I could see that happening--this whole new brand is easily a ploy to sell more merchandise. And if ECW doesn't end, then ECW One Night Stand III won't seem as special. ECWs end may not be a few weeks from now, but come winter, I wouldn't be surprised if it's gone.

I think there are 6 nails currently being hammered in ECW's coffin.
1st Nail: Vince's Indecisions.
I've been reading that Vinnie Mac has been changing his mind constantly about what to do with ECW. Apparently he was like this when deciding things about the XFL. Anyone remember the XFL? NO, NO ONE FUCKIN DOES! IT WAS GONE IN 2 MONTHS!
2nd Nail: Lack of actual ECW talent.
Well, this one I have to elaborate a bit on. I know they have guys like Roadkill, Sandman, Sabu, RVD, and a ton of others. But I meant main event talent. Seriously, they've had Kurt Angle, Edge, and the Big Show been involved in the main events of the "ECW" show. They've had Test come in and destroying Al Snow. Meanwhile, they have Sandman caning Zombies and Macho Man Ripoffs. They had Sabu winning squash matches. They need to get their asses in gear.
3rd Nail: Having TV Tapings With SmackDown
That one is self explanatory. ECW should have it's own separate tour from both RAW and SmackDown. They shouldn't have to be involved in these WWE supershow things. If ECW had it's own TV Show seperate from WWE, A: They'd make more money because it would be true ECW fans buying more tickets. B: Fan Support for ECW would go up because it would be more of a true ECW show. And C: Increased fan support means higher ratings, a better show, and higher talent interest.
4th Nail: Sabu and RVD getting nailed for drugs
In case you haven't already heard. On their way to an ECW house show, RVD and Sabu were pulled over for speeding. When the policeman was talking with RVD, he smelled marijuana. He then searched the car and found 18 grams of pot along with "Drug Paraphanalia" which probably meant a pipe, and 9 Vicodin Pain Pills. That would explain why RVD lost both his titles in one week, and is now suspedned for 30 days. This makes Vince McMahon look bad because his champion was busted for drugs. But, they were in Ohio, so RVD's offense wasn't that bad, maybe a $100 dollar fine. But in Sabu's case, he could get 30 days of jail time. Which is bad news, because now ECW loses 2 very important people for at least a month, which will lead to more struggles.
5th Nail: No More Extreme Matches or ECW Refs
Vince announced that all of the original ECW referees would no longer be in ECW, and that not every ECW match would be an Extreme Match. The only matches that would be extreme matches would be matches billed as extreme matches, which pretty much kills the whole concept of ECW.
6th Nail:Plumetting Ratings
This week ECW scored an embarassing 1.4 rating, which is way down from last weeks 2.2 rating. Almost down a full point. While many may argue that this is due to the 4th of July, I feel it will stay around that point because of the reasons I mentioned above.
Therefore, I believe that ECW will be over and done with around Wrestlemania.
